One of our goals as an organization is to help make our community a safer place on the weekends by providing fellow students a free and safe ride home. However, one of our lesser known goals is making our community a safer place by helping to educate about the dangers of substance abuse and driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. One Night, One Ride, One Life– or ONOROL for short- is an event we put on every semester to help educate our peers about these dangers, as well as to provide more information about our organization. These events are non-judgemental and not intended to be overly preachy, but rather to help educate students to make more informed decisions.
In previous years, ONOROL has hosted speakers to come and talk to students about their experiences with the dangers of substance abuse and driving under the influence. Previous speakers have included Mark Sterner, Bobby Petrocelli, and Marcus Engel. For more information on these speakers please check out their websites!
